Thursday, January 1st, 2004Well, Christmas has come and gone, and so with it, has many a bank balance. Well, we at TowJammerZ are not unique, feeling a little light in the wallets ourselves these days- which we feel is cause for celebration!
Yes, you’ve heard me correctly. While buyer’s remorse may haunt many a shopper this time of year, we’re proud of our recent frivolity. So, if you haven’t guessed already, yes Virginia, we’ve added to our fleet by one! TowJammerZ has acquired its first of many timeshare boats, a brand new 2004 Mastercraft Prostar 209, fully decked out with Zeroflex tower and board racks, high power stereo, and fuel injected GM Vortec power. The 209 represents Mastercraft’s top “crossover” boat- and in fact is certified by USA Water Ski in 4 disciplines- slalom, trick, jump, and wakeboard. So regardless of the water sport you may fancy, we’re sure the Prostar 209 will deliver the ride you deserve- whether behind the boat, or in the driver’s seat. Powerboat Magazine regarded this boat so highly that it received their coveted “towboat of the year award” for 2001.
The 209 will be offered as a quarter timeshare, first come first serve. Terms are for either one or three years, with a discounted rate offered for a three-year commitment. If you like what you’ve heard so far, give us a call for further details regarding this excellent boat, and outstanding timeshare opportunity. We anticipate having this boat at our Demo Days celebration in Calgary in mid-May, and of course at our grand opening celebration in Sicamous during the Victoria Day long weekend. Hope to see you there!
Look for news regarding further watercraft acquisitions, or other significant TowJammerZ developments, on this site as they occur.
For a change of pace, I’m going to ask for some readership assistance. The veteran boat in our fleet, “The Rat”, a Malibu Response, is presently an all-out slalom boat, and as such, is without tower, and without the wake enhancing Malibu wedge. We’re enlisting your help in deciding whether to mount a brand spanking new monster tower on “The Rat”, and if so, what color. If we mount the tower, we’ll swallow the cost (undoubtedly passing it along to you in some obscure way), and you get the ultimate in wakeboard towing performance, bringing this boat into crossover territory. If the tower goes on, we’ll offer a wake enhancing wedge as a low-cost option, alike our Malibu Sportster. So if you think “The Rat” deserves a tower, send us an email, explaining why, and which color (black, white, or brushed aluminum). If you think not, let us know your reasons for leaving her “as is”. We’ll award the purveyor of the most original reason a 1 hour morning or evening skiing/boarding session behind “The Rat” next time you’re in town.
